Over 400 years old and Grade 11 Listed, Ty Mawr has a large cosy sitting room with a wealth of oak beams, an enormous woodburning stove set in a massive inglenook, a huge open plan dining room and entrance hall with cloakroom off. Also on the ground floor is a spacious country kitchen with gas range cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washer/dryer. There are 2 single bedrooms on the ground floor with a shared shower room. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms, a king with an ensuite bathroom and a whirlpool bath with shower over, a double bedroom and a bunk room with full-width bunks. There is a main bathroom with bath tub, wc and hand basin.

The house and its adjoining cottage form a sheltered courtyard which is ideal for sitting out and for parking of several cars.
The house and cottage are set in their own 3 acres of paddock with pond and woodlands where badgers, foxes and hares abound.
There is a barbecue and garden furniture with floodlighting. One of the most memorable features of Ty Mawr is its location and extensive views.

There are walks in all directions from the door of the house and the drive to Bala and the lake takes less than 5 minutes.
It is possible to also rent the quaint little adjoining cottage for an additional 4 guests.
