Built on the foundations of an old barn, Le Chene offers comfortable and spacious accommodation for up to 10 guests. Fitted with a large kitchen and dining area, and a separate spacious lounge there is more than enough room for all your friends, or the whole family!

Holiday gite includes:

* 5 bedrooms: 3 on ground floor, 2 on 1st floor (1 permanent double, other 4 can be set as super king-size or twin rooms as required)
* 3 en-suite bathrooms, 1 en-suite is a shower room suitable for wheelchair users (level 3 mobility)
* Family bathroom (can be set as en-suite as well depending on requirements)
* Seperate WC
* Fully equipped kitchen with large dining area seating up to 14
* Spacious lounge area with doors onto patio area, log fire, satellite TV and DVD player
* Private patio with BBQ, loungers and patio furniture

Utilities include dishwasher, washing machine and freezer

Cot and highchair available on request along with other equipment for children (incl: buggy and car seat).

Guests at Le Chene enjoy the privacy of a patio area which gets all the afternoon sun and great sunset views across the back field. There is a BBQ for your use and parking space on-site for 3 cars. All guests have shared use of all the on-site facilities including swimming pool (May - September), bicycles, badminton/basket ball court, table tennis and pool table.

The beauty of a holiday at La Charriere is that no matter what the season or the weather, there is always something to do here - you need never be bored! La Charriere has a couple of barns on-site and one of these is equipped as a games area. You'll find table tennis, pool and darts in here. The big barn next door hs a concrete floor lined out for badminton, but can also be set up for volleyball, indoor tennis, 3-a-side basketball or even football.

So much on offer it is hard to know where to begin!

* Countryside walks - the rural setting makes La Charriere a perfect starting point for countryside walks to the river, along quiet country lanes to abandoned chapels and further afield to the gorge and waterfall at Grifferus.

The gites are both full of books, games, music and films, so even rainy days can be full of fun. We do our best to have things for all ages on hand so children and adults should all be able to entertain themselves happily. Complete one of the impossible jigsaw puzzles during your stay, or plan a murder mystery dinner for your group one evening!

In summer, you can try your hand at painting or drawing a view across one of the fields, and in winter you can curl up in front of the fire and read a new book, or perhaps an old favourite. We have a DVD library with over 100 films which guests can request and borrow at no extra charge.
