'Tembani', the original house name, was built in 1900 by Edwardian Missionaries returning from Africa - hence the name and colonial style.

It is located in the hamlet of Brandis Corner and backs on to Holsworthy Forest. The Red and Roe Deer are often seen in the back meadow. Other wildlife includes Barn Owls (regularly seen), Water Voles (occasionally), and many beautiful small birds.

The market town of Holsworthy is nearby and retains much of its original character. Every Wednesday, the Pannier Market takes place and this goes back centuries.

Your stay at 'The Edwardian' will provide you with every comfort. You will start your day with a traditional breakfast (Edwardian style). Thus fortified, you can then set off on your day's touring, and come back to a delicious Evening Dinner. No need to rush out again! Just relax with a glass of wine - a great antidote to the stresses and strains of modern life.

We intend to offer 'An Edwardian Christmas' and New Year. Details will be available very shortly.

Bedrooms:	3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6 1 Double/s with ensuite, 1 Double/s, 1 Twin/s Our first suite is now ready - The Rose Suite. This has 'zip n link' beds which can be arranged either as a king size or twin beds. Our Lilac Room and Honeysuckle Room will be available very shortly.
Bathrooms:	3 Bathroom/s 2 Shower/s, 3 Wash basin/s, 4 Toilets/s The Rose Suite has its own en-suite shower room. Stool and safety suction hand rails for the less mobile. The Lilac and Honeysuckle Rooms will have a shared bathroom initially - en-suites to follow.
Lounge:	Seating for 6 people TV, CD Player, Radio, DVD Player, Board Games, Books/Magazines, Selection of Films, Selection of Music The Rose Suite has its own small private sitting room. The Guest Sitting Room will be ready very shortly.
Dining Area:	Seating for 12 people The dining room is open to non-residents on a pre-booked basis - lunches/teas only.
Outdoors:	Private garden, Sunloungers, Patio table, Patio chairs, Sunshade As well as a large garden which we are developing, we do have a small Woodland Walk. We intend to make this a 'Bluebell Walk' for the Spring.
Access:	Car essential, Wheelchair, Off road parking We will shortly be providing a ramp for the front door for wheelchairs.
Meals:	Breakfast, Lunch, Packed lunches, Evening meal We are not yet licensed, but guests may bring their own wines and spirits.
Facilities in each room:	TV, CD Player, Radio, DVD Player, Hairdryer All refreshments are made and served upon request.
