An opportunity

It is an excellent opportunity to stay in Maye Meye guesthouse. Such a holiday we have never had. We were very warmly welcomed and they did everything to make us feel good. The food was amazing, especially considering how little you can buy there.
The rooms are very nicely with (thankfully) a toilet and shower. We enjoyed the tranquility, the sea and not to forget the trips we made.

The special thing about Maye Meye lies in the possibility to have direct contact with the locals. Thus we are allowed to have a view inside the original homes - what a poverty by our standards. We talked a lot with all kinds of people and that has definitely changed our view of Africa. The people of Maye Meye have ensured that we could do everything we planned.
We wanted to know about development projects in southern Senegal.
They have brought us in touch with all kinds of people and projects. We also visited a number of houses which are restored and /or rebuilt by Maye Meye. 
What an incredible initiative. Much work has been done and what are the Senegalese happy about this.

We, in turn, are happy we could help them by booking our holidays at Maye Meye. Maye Meye deserves a special recommendation as a hospitable and versatile guesthouse.
