Languedoc Villa Perfection with a Pool
This is a really beautiful house in a great location and it ticked so many of the boxes for our holiday. For starters the villa is so lovely and the photos barely do it justice. It’s very well furnished, nice and spacious and has everything you’d need. It was also spotlessly clean and we were made very welcome on our arrival.
Valerie was also very helpful in answering all our questions in advance and the directions and check in were all highly professional.
The villa location is excellent – just a short walk to the village, easy to get to from a range of motorways and airports and there’s loads to do in the area. More than anything though, the views from the house are just gorgeous. We really think we chose well and we spent a lovely fortnight admiring probably the best view from a holiday villa we’ve ever experienced. We agreed that France in the imagination and the real thing are sometimes quiet different but this was the real south of France!
We flew in to Carcassonne for our holiday.As a base for Narbonne and the coast Villa La Cascade is ideal and the little villages in the area are all very pretty. The house has wifi, the bedrooms are en-suite and outside the seated dining areas are a great place to relax and take in the scenery. When we were there it was hot and sunny and the garden was a real haven with great views of Durban Corbières castle – the old fortress is just like something out of the middle ages!
If you are looking for a really relaxing holiday in higher standard of accommodation than normal (and in a convenient location) with outstanding views than Villa La Cascade really does have it all and we would recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing break.
