La Vieille Longere is a lovely old stone longhouse which retains many original features and has been sympathetically renovated to provide comfortable year-round self-catering accommodation for adults or older families (age guide 11+).

The Breton arched doorway opens into a double height hall with exposed oak beams and A-frames. The living room is dual aspect and has french doors at one end opening onto the barbecue terrace. The kitchen has a comprehensive inventory of cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

There is a pretty ground floor double bedroom with french doors and a shower room. Upstairs are two further ensuite bedrooms, one double and one twin, either side of a galleried landing. This layout provides privacy for groups of friends holidaying together and gives the option for couples to rent just the ground floor accommodation (£100 per week rate reduction applies).

The area is particularly popular with walkers and nature lovers. The proximity of the River Lie and Loudeac Forest ensure a multitude of birds and wildlife. There are beautiful sunsets and clear night skies ideal for star gazing.

Within a 15km radius are a selection of market villages with restaurants, assorted shops and fishing lakes.

Just half-hour's drive from Plessala gives access to beautiful beaches, international standard golf courses, inland lakes with water sports, castles and fascinating medieval towns.

Guests can take advantage of 20% Brittany Ferries discount for travel to France if required.
