Les Petits Coins gites, with heated swimming pool, are set in the heart of the small village of Semoussac in the Charente Maritime region of France.

Surrounded by open countryside, they are midway between Royan and Bordeaux, only 10 minutes from the market town of Mirambeau and 35 minutes from sandy beaches.

Rochards is a large very private gite. It is a renovated French home that is completely self contained with all you may need to use as a base to explore the many cities and beaches very close by. It is also used by those looking for a base in the winter months while they look for their dream French home. This is a traditional mid-terrace farm cottage right in the heart of this sleepy little hamlet.

This cottage offers comfortable accommodation for two people, all on ground level. Electric convector heaters in every room make it cosy for out of season holidays.

This area normally has very pleasant spring and autumn weather, with the added advantage of fewer visitors and cheaper prices.

There is one large living room with a well equipped kitchen area at one end with gas cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine.

At the other end is the dining area and a comfortably furnished sitting area.

There is a TV / video and DVD player with a large choice of DVDs and videos to rent and also a bookcase stocked with English books.

The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps.

Off the bedroom is the ensuite shower room with washbasin and WC.

A gate leading into the garden and pool area is twenty metres from the front door. Here you find your own private terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and some wonderful views over the valley and out to the Gironde estuary - the perfect spot for spending long, tranquil evenings watching the sun go down and the stars come out.

House towels are available to hire @ €15 per week per 2 people.
Pool / beach towels are not available.
Subject to availability - we can supply a cot and high chair.
