Description of holiday gite in La Jousseliniere, Pays de la Loire

Le Gite Tranquille lives up to its name - and a completely relaxing and stress-free time will be assured for all guests. The house is surrounded by mature gardens and there are many quiet lanes to walk or cycle along.

The house is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge, kitchen/diner and small utility room and separate toilet. The lounge has two large sofas, a dining table & 6 chairs, a TV, DVD, video, CD player and radio. The Kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, and a dishwasher. The utility room has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The first floor has two bedrooms; one with double bed and the other with two single beds. Both bedrooms are en-suite and have a TV and storage. A third single bed and cot are also available to use in the twin bedroom.

The outside area has a private patio with a table with comfy chairs and there is also a private garden area with BBQ and sun loungers. The private garden is surrounded by a larger garden and orchard where you can relax or have a picnic. There is also a table tennis table, French boules and a set of swings to keep the children amused.

In order to secure your booking we ask that you firstly check for availability, then complete the online Booking Form on our website & finally send a 30% non-refundable deposit for the total cost of the holiday. A £100 Security deposit is required & this should be sent along with the final payment 8 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.

Cancellation prior to final payment will only incur the loss of deposit; cancellation with less than 8 weeks to go will incur full loss of payment if we are unable to rent out to gite to other people.

Payment can be made in Sterling or Euros either by cheque or direct bank transfer.

Location description

Le Gite Tranquille is set on the edge of the small village of La Jousseliniere and is less than a 10 minute drive from the bustling town of Sainte Hermine which has many bars, restaurants and shops.

It is also only a 45 minute drive from the sandy beaches of the Southern Vendée.

A 40 minute drive will bring you to the lively port of La Rochelle - a great place to spend a day or an evening - with good restaurants and many events throughout the year.

Throughout the summer months there are many local festivals and markets - ranging from Hog Roasts and Car boot sales to Art Exhibitions and Historical Festivals

The TGV now runs from Paris to either La Roche sur Yon or Les Sables D'Olonne - both only 40 minutes away.
