Description of holiday gite in Fontiers Plaisance, Languedoc-Roussillon
Domaine de Clement is a private estate in the village of Fontiers Cabardes, close to the magnificent medieval town of Carcassonne in the South of France.
The valley is a lovely haven of peace; walks upstream bring you to wild wooded countryside. The huge pool is set away from the houses, each cottage has its own private terrace, garden furniture and BBQ. There is a games room, laundry room, separate games field and English satellite TV is available in selected cottages.
Free broadband internet is available to all guests. The English owners live on site and are on hand to help you make the most of your holiday. We are also able to arrange weekend breaks, including golf, football or rugby tours, music weekends, and can provide help in arranging matches, green fees, accommodation & transport.
Whether you want to relax by the pool, enjoy the peace and sunshine in the privacy of your own terrace, watch the children potter about in the gently babbling stream, or explore the cultural riches the area offers, Domaine de Clement is the perfect destination for your cottage holiday in France.
Moulin Haut has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8
Door from the terrace overlooking the stream into the living room with circular kitchen area, electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge. Comfortable seating including double sofas, dining table, chairs and English tv/video/dvd. Also on this level are a double bedroom & twin bedroom sharing a bathroom and wc. Downstairs (steep steps!) to two further bedrooms, one twin & one double, shower room and separate wc. Please note the downstairs rooms are below ground and have no outside window.

We are 15 miles north west of the medieval town of Carcassonne, 1 hour east of Toulouse and 1 hour from the Mediterranean.
The local airport at Carcassonne has flights from Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, Dublin, Shannon & Brussels. In addition there are flights to Toulouse from London, East Midlands, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Dublin. Montpellier, Perpignan and Gerona airports are also easily accessible. Barcelona is 3 hours away.
