L'Abeille is situated in the tiny hamlet (just four houses) of Le Puy near Chatillon-sur-Indre. It sleeps six plus a baby in three bedrooms and a box room. This gite is fully equipped to a very high standard and is perfect for a family holiday. The area has many places of interest and lots of attractions for a great holiday.
The Gite, L'Abeille (whch means 'The Bee' in French), is in a small hamlet situated in the heart of the country very close to LE BRENNE, which is a large area of natural beauty loved by birdwatchers and walkers, has 3 double bedrooms and a cot room, no en-suite but 2 bathrooms upstairs (1 shower, 1 bath) and 1 showeroom downstairs.
The accommodation has a large open plan lounge with patio doors (leading out to an eating area), woodburner, integral kitchen and diner, a large garden with covered BBQ eating area and a field to walk or play games in. There are plenty of parking spaces and a gate to make the property dog and childproof.

Chatillon is just 3Ks from gite with great little brasseries, swimming pool and park and Intermarche for shopping.There are many places of interest in the vicinity including:- LE HAUTE TOUCHE beautiful animal park 3 Ks away.ST AIGNAN ZOO, is reportedly the best zoo in France with everything for a great day out.
CHEMILLE is a river with a beach for swimming, pedalos and rowing boats for hire and a lovely Brasserie de Lac. MONTRESSOR, is a beautiful historical village with Chateau and restaurants. AZAY-LE-FERON is a Chateau 3Ks from the gite, small but with beautiful gardens and walks. LOCHES is a gorgeous town with markets on Wed and Sat, lovely Chateau and park. MONTRICHARD is another historical town with Chateau many eating places. CHENONCEAUX Chateau is also nearby. There are many other famous CHATEAUX along the LOIRE including AMBOISE

Directions
There are good motorway links to TOURS (also beautiful Scenic routes) but come off the A10 at Tours and take the N143 to LOCHES. Then from Loches it's a straight road to CHATILLON S/INDRE still the N143, then, after Chatillon, turn right onto the D975 (towards LE BLANC) but after 2 ks take the 2nd turning on the left signposted L'Estrac follow lane round to Le Puy. VOILA !
Ryanair fly from several airports to Limoges where you can hire a car. A car is essential for exploring the area.
