We have very much enjoyed our stay in your gite - delightfully cool in very hot temperatures. We had everything we needed. We would like to come back so that we could explore the area - sadly just too hot to do that this time.

Was meant to come in 2020 but due to Covid finally made it and what a great time we had again....
Weather was amazing, very hot so we took ourselves to the beautiful beaches as well.
Place (Passerose) is great and so comfortable + hosts are amazing people.
This time we had breakfast and evening meals, just delicious, a must if you stay here and their jams and pies are to die for!!
We look forward to our next visit!!

Waited for this holiday for 2 years because of Covid.
The previous 2 years before Covid we stayed in Chalet Lavande but decided to stay in Passerose this year. It was everything we wanted. We have had a brilliant holiday.
Ren�e, Ren� and Jacky have been brilliant hosts. We would recommend this site and area to anyone without question!
We had 2 eveningmeals from them and they catered for gluten free, no problem, super meal!
Very peaceful and enjoyable holiday.

To whoever you are: welcome to this lovely country retreat.
Ren�e, Ren� and Jacky will make you very welcome on your arrival. They maintain the gite extremely well and ensure that it is comfortable for you.
If this is your first time in the Vend�e, you will find the air lovely. The many coastal towns are within easy reach and mostly very little traffic on the roads. It is a delightful place to be.
Mareuil-sur-Lay is 4 kms and you can get all you need there: three excellent bread shops to choose from plus Intermarch� for your main shopping.
Just relax and enjoy your stay!

We were welcomed by Ren�e, Ren� & Jacky on Sunday afternoon and shown around the site. We had a meal provided by them on the evening. Excellent food. We would heartily recommend the food, delivered and served at the cottage. ( and NO washing up ). The whole area in L �Etournerie is beautiful and well maintained . The chickens roam all around and like to check out the patio if you inadvertently leave the gate open. The geese always give a friendly hiss when they pass and when you give them food. The peacocks seem friendly, if a little noisy first thing in the morning, and I found one perched on the gate one morning , much to my surprise.
One of the benefits of staying in the cottage is that you can donate any leftovers to the chickens and geese straight into their feeding place opposite. After you have done that you a few times, you will find that chickens and geese will follow you around.
Renee & family are all very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful , just ring the bell in the office and they will answer any questions you may have, and the maps in the office are very good ( if you can read maps ) if you want to find local walks through the countryside.
We spent a very relaxing 2 weeks here and had a great time. The weather was very much the same as Britain , except a lot warmer (showers in 1st week , unusual for the Vendee) , but we managed to make it to the beach nearly every day. The second week was scorchio , so back to normal. Eating on the patio every day was lovely with all the butterflies and bees.
Lovely place, lovely people , would love to come back.

Second year running - just missing the lock-down rules. A wonderful week in your lovely gite. Thank you all for your attention to detail in the accommodation and the peaceful setting (not counting the peacock of course, although we were living not far from a bird park with half a dozen peacocks and some peahens in England, so it was almost home from home).

Thank you Ren�e, Jacky and Ren�. We had a super week staying with you in the Vend�e. What a lovely breakfast we enjoyed from you on our first morning - how welcome you made us all feel.
Ok so the weather might not have been up to the usual Vend�e hot standard but it didn't stop us having a fabulous time. The people at the local winery thought we were mad taking the little buggy out in the rain but it did not stop our enjoyment.

We have loved staying in Villa Passerose, it has been very comfortable with all amenities.
This is a beautiful part of France and we have enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife even up to our door. A peacock called Jacques came to visit us one morning which was wonderful to see. The chickens have been very amusing and the geese very hissy.
We will really miss Polleke as she has been so friendly and welcoming. We have cats of our own so she has helped fill the void.
We had two meals on site and I would have to say that both were absolutely delicious and extremely good value. It was even better that we had no washing up to do afterwards!
Thank you Ren�e, Ren�, Jacky, Emma & Mariecke for making us feel so welcome. We have had a lovely time.
