Villa "Il Vecchio Leccio" is a 2 level independent portion of a farmhouse dating back to the 17th century. Carefully restored maintaining the original architectural features of the authentic old-style Tuscan house (terracotta floors, beamed ceilings, stonewalls, even a stone manger and an old fireplace) the house has been furnished mixing ancient pieces of furniture and objects of the past with new stylish ideas, so to give a fresh overall look. Thanks to a connecting/separating door, the house can be let as a whole unit or divided into 2 separate independent apartments, according to guest’s requests. Around the house, exclusive fenced garden area scattered with tables and chairs to enjoy breakfasts or meals in the outdoor. Also available a barbecue to practise cooking the excellent Florentine steak or other exquisite Tuscan specialities, and swimming pool with deckchairs. The trees of the garden allow to enjoy a sunbath or swim even during the hottest months.

In Certaldo medieval bourg animated with spectacular off-teather and artisanal crafts "Mercanzia" in mid July.

San Gimignano, the city of towers and on of the World's Heritage, is only 12 km away.
Florence and Sienna are very easy to reach also by train from Certaldo station.

We are very flexible with late/early arrival/departure time dued to strange low budget fair schedules, so NO PROBLEM!
Please always call when about 30 km from Certaldo, we'll come and pick you up in the village so to show you the way the first time.
We are located in the country and you probably won't find the house yourself at once.
