The apartment is on the first floor of the main building, with access from an outside stair and small loggia shared with Il Covo apartment. The entrance is directly into the sitting/dining room with fitted kitchen, the table can seat 8 people, on a side there is a nice comfortable leather sofa and a reading lamp. On the left of the entrance a small passage leads to a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower. A wooden staircase, takes to a very spacious upper room with three single beds, - in this room is possible to add one or two cots and there is still space to move around.
EQUIPMENT: microwave, freezer, electric oven, top stove with 4 fires, kettle, percolator,bread toaster, mini food processor… plenty of everything you may need to feel at home. Candle holders. Hair Dryer.

The farmhouse, once upon a time, was part an old estate, where farmers grew tobacco and it has recently acquired the status of historical building.The charming house that resulted by the lovingly and painstakingly restoration, is currently divided into four comfortable and spacious units.. A large fenced fully equipped garden, with a 7 x 12 meters swimming pool that also has a part for children, surrounds the property. There is also a communal BBQ area with three stone charcoal BBQ.All units have reserved space in the garden and by the swimming pool. Free reserved parking in front of the house.The lodging enjoys countryside privacy, close proximity to the attractions and amenities of Arezzo and it is the ideal base for many excursions in all Central Italy. Being in the center of Tuscany Siena, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and many other art cities will be easily reached...while the shopping lovers will find nearby many outlets of the most important Made in Italy fashion brands such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi D&G and many others.

The area is full of nice restaurants that offer either the typical Tuscan cuisine or Pizza.

Supermarket, bank, pharmacy ,food stores, grocery, and a nice restaurant are in Laterina only 2.5 km from the house. More stores and a supermarket are in Levane, while Ipermarkets and every kind of stores are in Montevarchi and Arezzo.
The train station to reach Florence is 7 km from the house (free safe parking) and in about one hour it will take you right to the centre of the city without having to worry about parking and traffic.
If guests want to reach Florence by car, we will be happy to give them the direction to reach safe parking.

The Natural Reserves of “Valle dell’Inferno e Bandella” and “Ponte Buriano e Penna” will also give visitors the opportunity to explore this area natural environment through quite a few charming itineraries.

The First Saturday and Sunday of each month one of the most important Antiquities Fair takes place in Arezzo.
In Arezzo is also organized twice a year the famous” Joust of the Saraceno” an historical commemoration dating to the XIV century .

Deposit/Booking Notes: On July and August change over day is Saturday, other months maximum flexibility, min.stay 3 nights.
To confirm booking an advance of 30% of the total ammount is required.

Location cost includes: use of electricity, cold and hot water, cooking gas, bed linens, bathroom towels,*** kitchen linens, swimming pool towels ( if needed), free use of laundry (it also means that we will supply all the detergents), it doesn't include: caution deposit ( € 200,00 to be paid on cash , upon the day of arrival and given back on the departure day), mandatory final cleaning fee= € 16,00 per person.(babies up to three years do not pay the cleaning fees).
Heating (when needed and allowed, usually from mid October to middle March) is forfeited at € 18,00/day.

Historical Estate dating from the 17 th century, located on the hills on the left bank of the Arno River, close to Arezzo,Florence, Siena. The compound is composed of one cottage (4+2) and 4 apartments.
The quiet hilly panoramic area is only three kilometers from the beautiful medieval Village of Laterina, the lodging enjoys countryside privacy ,close proximity to the attractions and amenities of Arezzo, and it is the ideal base for many excursion in all Central Italy. There are good motorways and rail links with the rest of Tuscany and taking the train you can be in the heart of Florence in about half an hour. Being in the centre of Tuscany you will be able to reach easily, Siena, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Perugia...and the shopping lover will find nearby many outlets of the most important made Italy fashion brands of the Made in Italy, such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi D&G

Directions

Highway A1 (Firenze - Roma) exit Valdarno. After the exit follow the direction Levane –Bucine- , after about 8 km , you are in the Center of Levane. There is a traffic light , turn left and follow the direction towards Arezzo ( you are now on S.S.69 road) -after about 4 kms ,you will see on your left the sign “ Montalto – Laterina”. Here you turn on the left and follow the road for approximately 6 km, untill you reach a cross road ( laterina is on the hill on your left), on your left there is also a big Tamoil gas station. Here you must turn on your right “ Via Fabbrica” and you must follow the road until you cross the bridge over the Arno River, after you cross the bridge you will have to turn on your right : there is a white road: you must follow it for about 2.8 km and you will reach the old church and our house.
