The structure
Casale Bellaria was created as we were eager to rescue an old dilapidated structure through maintenance, and by enhancing the typical architectural characteristics of the farmhouses of the Tuscan countryside.

The work, carried out with passion over the years, was dictated by a profound respect for our environment and the persons that will happen to stay in Casale Bellaria, even for short periods of time.

Therefore, both buildings' finish – from the floor done in terra cotta tiles or parquet to the ceiling decorated with beams - has been renovated by observing bio-building techniques, i.e., without glue nor chemical substances, but with special products and natural treatments, so as to offer a cosy, harmonious and wholesome habitat.

La Sughera
FLAT (48mq.meters - 2/4 persons)
A separate, very quiet flat, which stands at ground floor level, that of the owners' house, in the wonderful Tuscan countryside, amidst olive-trees cultivated by observing organic farming techniques.
The ideal place for families with children or to enjoy romantic holidays.

It is furnished in the Tuscan rustic style and consists of a living-room with a double bed-sofa, satellite TV, CD/DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a double-bed and a bathroom with a shower.

A comfortable veranda leads to the entrance, and in the spacious garden our guests may dispose of a gazebo fitted with a table and chairs, sunbeds to relax while taking a sun-bath.

In this private garden, you may enjoy the wonderful view over the valley of the Cecina river as far as the sea of the Tuscan archipelago and the Etruscan Coast.

On clear days, Elbe and Corsica islands may be seen.
Private parking and a children's playground fitted with pencils and felt-tip pens.

Within a few kilometers, the beaches in Cecina and Bibbona, the splendid Baratti Gulf with their extensive shaded pine-clad hillsides.

The most famous artistic cities of Tuscany may be reached and visited on the same day, and in the neighbourhood, you may stroll through numerous typical mediaeval villages and areas of an archaeological interest. There are numerous restaurants and inns to suit all palates and lovers of oenology may visit cellars and taste the excellent wines, D.O.C. labelled, produced along the famous Strada dei Vini.

Reach highway A12 LIVORNO/ROSIGNANO
Drive till the end, exit at Rosignano Marittimo
Take the highway SS1 towards Roma/Grosseto
Exit at Cecina Nord and follow the sign Volterra
Continue for 9,5 km , on your left you will see the restaurant “Osteria Il Viandante”
right away on your left you will find an uphill path and a sign “Via di Montescudaio”
Drive for 1,7 km until you see a large sign “Strada vicinale Preselle/Serre”.
Take the unpaved road on your left and after a 100 meters' drive you will see a big yellow house on your left. You have reached Casale Bellaria!
