The Antica Posta of Vallelunga country-house is located in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, 15 minutes from Perugia, in a proximity of a provincial road that permit to reach all tuscan and umbrian cities.
What characterizes the Antica Posta of Vallelunga, apart from the nature and the green that colours the entire valley, is without doubt the elegance of its furnishings, the refinement and taste for the antique which the owners have put into the restoration of the country-house, otherwise the dimension of the apartments, from 44sqm for the apartment for 2 until the 241sqm the apartment for 8.
Each house can be considered an apartment with large space; completely independent and offering all that a family might need. Some have also a fireplace.
In all the apartments the owners have sought to re-create a family atmosphere in order to satisfy those guests who wish to enjoy both the quiet of country life and the refinement of an exclusive facility.
The structure can host without problem disable people and boasts a private garden of one hectare, large parking lots and a 16 x 8.6-metre swimming pool.
The owners have preserved various original features of the apartments such as arches, wooden beams, and all else that confers on the structure an aura of the past, an effort that can be noted both inside and outside the complex, where harmony has also been preserved between the surrounding vegetation and the elegant exterior structure.
It is possible to rent the single apartment or the entire complex.
The Apartments
All the houses of the property are independent and each house has a private exterior space in the garden or a private terrace, where it’s possible to eat (equipped with table and chairs).
The Mansion House (241 sqm 8 pax) presents an elegant entranceway, a large kitchen with all of the modern conveniences (electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc.) as well as a fireplace and a 75 sqm living room with a fireplace, dining room and study with double sofa bed. The sleeping area is made up of 2 double bedroom and 1 twin bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, and another bathroom with shower. The Mansion House has also an exclusive porch big more than 50sqm. where the people can eat all together beside the garden.
In the Chestnut (67sqm 3 pax) we enter a large warm living room with a sofabed and with a kitchen equipped with electric oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. The sleeping area includes a bathroom with shower, a large double bedroom and a big private terrace that looks onto the garden.
The Pomegranate (74sqm 4 pax) is composed of a living room with kitchen equipped with electric oven, dishwasher and refrigerator, and a large loft with sofa bed where one can relax with a book or watch television. In the sleeping area we find a single bedroom, a large double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
This apartment has a big private terrace that looks onto the garden.
Chestnut and Pomegranate are linked inside and can be rented also all together.
The first floor of the main complex offers a common hall featuring a large fireplace, original of the ancient structure, where guests can linger to read or talk together.
The first outbuilding is the Sunflower (90sqm 6 pax), a structure that can also meet the needs of disabled people, made up of two large rooms, a twin and double, two bathrooms (of which one for the disabled), a large living room with double sofa bed, fireplace and a kitchen equipped with electric oven, refrigerator and dishwasher.
This apartment has a big exclusive terrace beside the garden.
The second outbuilding is comprised of two apartments: the Apple tree (57sqm 3 pax) and the Peach blossom (44sqm 2 pax). Both the apartment, that can be linked, have a trellis terrace beside the garden where in the summer is possible to eat.
The first apartment, the Apple tree, is composed of a large living room with fireplace and kitchen (complete with refrigerator, electric oven and dishwasher), and by the sleeping area, made up of a bathroom with shower, a small bedroom and a double bedroom.
The final apartment, the Peach blossom, offers a living room with cooking area, this too equipped with electric oven, refrigerator and dishwasher, a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom.

Wine and oil tasting - Antica Posta di Vallelunga is near to some of the most renowned wineries Of Umbria
The tourist will have the opportunity to visit the wineries in guided tours, look the bottling process, projections that show the course from the planting of the grapes to bottling and taste the wines from the cellar.
In some wine cellar you can also have the oportunity of wine tasting with small lunch and grappa tasting.
Directions
From the North
(A1 Autostrada del sole motorway), exit at Valdichiana (Bettolle) and follow the signs for Perugia.
Exit at Perugia-Madonna Alta and turn left in the direction of San Sisto. After 200 meters go past the first roundabout, in the direction of Pila.
After 1 kilometer, go past the 2nd roundabout, once again towards Pila.
Go straight on for another 500 meters until reaching the 3rd roundabout, take the road to the right and continue towards Pila. At this point go straight on through the first and second traffic lights, going straight towards Spina.
After 3 kilometres is the 4th roundabout, which should be passed, heading straight on for Spina-S.Biagio della Valle.
After about 1 kilometre there is a street sign showing 8 kilometres; 200 meters further on is the entrance to Antica Posta Vallelunga.
From the South
Take the A1 motorway and exit at Orte, then take the right-hand road for Terni.
After 20 kilometres get on freeway E45 for Perugia-Cesena. Nearing Perugia, go past the Balanzano exit, then take the Perugia-Firenze link road.
Exit at Perugia-Madonna Alta immediately after the fourth tunnel, and turn left towards San Sisto.
After about 200 meters go past the first roundabout and continue towards Pila.
After about 1 kilometres, go past the 2nd roundabout, once again in the direction of Pila. Go straight on for another 500 meters until reaching the 3rd roundabout, take the road to the right and continue towards Pila.
At this point go straight on through the first and second traffic lights, going straight towards Spina.
