Casa Rosa is a typical small Marchigiani farmhouse with its own vineyard, olive grove woodland and meadows. It is set in a stunning location of privacy, peace and tranquillity with breathtaking views across one of central Italy’s most beautiful landscapes.

Just 20km to the east lies the sparkling Adriatic sea with its miles and miles of sandy beaches while 30km to the west are the famous Sibillini mountains and national park, where skiing, walking, climbing and exploring are richly rewarding. Honey-coloured medieval towns and villages sleep quietly atop the hills of this spectacular area of southern Le Marche, where eagles soar, nightingales sing and poppies and sunflowers splash their colours across the patchwork countryside.

Casa Rosa, which has been fully renovated and modernised to a high standard, offers comfortable, spacious accommodation with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen and a utility room. Outside is a large roofed terrace perfect for relaxing and enjoying al fresco meals.

The friendly village of Montottone, a mile away, offers everything necessary for daily living, with a bakery, butcher, supermarket, newsagent, restaurant, two bars, pharmacy, post office, bank, pottery and even a tennis court.
Close by are an oleficio, for buying local olive oil, and a cantina, for local wine, while various markets are held almost daily within easy reach.
Slow Food, organic produce and traditional recipes are hallmarks of Marchigiani kitchens, from rural homes to city restaurants. In contrast, the region also has a reputation as a shopper’s paradise, with numerous factory outlets for names such as Tod’s, Prada, Armani, Malagrida, Helmut Lang, Byblos and Hugo Boss.

Deposit/Booking Notes: Payment: One-third of the rental should be paid at the time of confirming the booking. This is not refundable in the event of cancellation. The balance should be paid no later than one calendar month before the start of your stay.
Deposit: We also respectfully ask for a returnable deposit of €250 in advance to cover any breakages or damage. The balance will be refunded within two weeks of the end of your stay.
Discounts: Guests booking for a second week will be entitled to a discount of 10% on the second week’s rental. Guests booking for a third week will receive a discount of 20% on the third week’s rental. A mid-stay change of linen and cleaning of bathrooms is compulsory for guests staying for two weeks or more. This will be charged at a nominal rate of €25 per person.
Included: The rental charge is inclusive of all services: gas, electricity and water. Bedding and towels (but not beach towels) are supplied.
Rental periods: Normal rental periods run from Saturday to Saturday. However, we are happy to be flexible whenever possible so feel free to contact us with any specific requests.

Most straightforward way is to fly to Ancona (daily Ryanair budget flights from London Stansted), rent a car from the airport and drive the one-hour journey to the house. Take the A14 autostrada as far as Porto San Giorgio and detailed directions will be supplied for the last 18kms.
