The farmhouse is placed on the triangle among Florence, Siena and Arezzo, The location is really excellent since is central and close to all the major art cities of Tuscany and Umbria.
The property a former farmhouse is set on gentles slopes descending toward the left bank of the Arno river, at the foot of the medieval village of Laterina, near the ancient Sanctuary of Santa Maria in Valle, the origins of which date back to late Middle ages.

The place is surrounded by history and it still maintains its magical atmosphere.The farmhouse, once upon a time, was part an old estate, where farmers grew tobacco and it has recently acquired the status of historical building.The charming house that resulted by the lovingly and painstakingly restoration, is currently divided into four comfortable and spacious units.. A large fenced fully equipped garden, with a 7 x 12 meters swimming pool surrounds the property. There is also a communal BBQ area with three stone charcoal BBQ.

Raised ground floor apartment with its own private porch, equipped for eating outside. Entrance directly into a spacious sitting/dining room with double sofa bed, table and chairs, reading lamp, coffee table, separate fitted kitchen, large bedroom with double bed and one single bed.Disengagement and bathroom w/shower.

EQUIPMENT: microwave, freezer, electric oven, top stove with 4 fires, kettle, percolator, bread toaster, mini food processor….plenty of everything you may need to feel at home.
Candle holders, Hair dryer, Baby cot, high chair, extra bed are supplied free of charge.
On your arrival will find in each unit a basic supply for the house, that is: mineral water, sugar, coffee, coffee filters, tea, salt, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, spices, dish soap, multiuse detergents, garbage bags, courtesy basket, toilet papers and a welcome surprise.

The area is full of nice restaurants, where you can taste the typical Tuscan cuisine.
Supermarket, bank, pharmacy, food stores, grocery, and a nice restaurant are in Laterina only 2.5 km from the house. More stores and a supermarket are in Levane, Hypermarkets and every kind of stores are in Montevarchi and Arezzo. The train station to go to Florence is 7 km from the house with free parking.
The place is ideal for a cultural and relaxing holiday.

Deposit/Booking Notes: On july and August change over day is Saturday. other months maximum flexibility, min.stay 3 nights.
To confirm booking an advance of 30% of the total amount is required.

Location cost includes: use of electricity, cold and hot water, cooking gas, bed linens, bathroom towels,*** kitchen linens, swimming pool towels ( if needed), free use of laundry (it also means that we will supply all the detergents), it doesn't include: caution deposit ( € 200,00 to be paid on cash , upon the day of arrival and given back on the departure day), mandatory final cleaning fee= € 16,00 per person.(babies up to three years do not pay the cleaning fees).
Heating ( when needed and allowed, usually from mid October to middle March) is forfeited at € 18,00/day.

The quiet hilly panoramic area is only three kilometers from the beautiful medieval Village of Laterina, the lodging enjoys countryside privacy ,close proximity to the attractions and amenities of Arezzo, and it is the ideal base for many excursion in all Central Italy. There are good motorways and rail links with the rest of Tuscany and taking the train you can be in the heart of Florence in about half an hour. Being in the centre of Tuscany you will be able to reach easily, Siena, Cortona,Lake Trasimeno, Perugia...and the shopping lover will find nearby many outlets of the most important Made Italy fashion brands of the Made in Italy, such as Prada, Gucci, Fendi D&G

Directions

Highway A1 (Firenze - Roma) exit Valdarno. After the exit follow the direction Levane –Bucine- , after about 8 km , you are in the Center of Levane. There is a traffic light , turn left and follow the direction towards Arezzo ( you are now on S.S.69 road) -after about 4 kms ,you will see on your left the sign “ Montalto – Laterina”. Here you turn on the left and follow the road for approximately 6 km, untill you reach a cross road ( laterina is on the hill on your left), on your left there is also a big Tamoil gas station. Here you must turn on your right “ Via Fabbrica” and you must follow the road until you cross the bridge over the Arno River, after you cross the bridge you will have to turn on your right : there is a white road: you must follow it for about 2.8 km and you will reach the old church and our house.
