Description of holiday duplex in Yeni Foca, Aegean Coast
The house was new in 2008 and is located on a hillside facing west. overlooking Yeni Foca and the bay. It consists of two units, both with the capacity of sleeping 6 persons. It would be ideal for family or friends who want to be independent but still stay close by each other. The prices shown below is for just one of the units.
The kitchen has all mod cons, and there is a lounge area with digital TV (Astra connection, which has a range of English, German and Dutch channels). Upstairs there are three bedrooms. And above that there is a spacey roof terrace with fantastic view over the town and the sea, and in the evenings one may see some spectacular sunsets.
The house has a garden and swimming pool which is shared among the two units. There are also balconies and terraces with outside furniture.
It takes just a couple of minutes to walk to the nearest shop, the beach or into the town, where one can find more shops, restautrants and an internet cafe. Yeni Foca has good bus connection to Eski Foca, Aliaga and Izmir.

Location description
Yeni Foca is a small town on the Aegean coast, about 20 km north of it's better known 'sister town' Eski Foca. The athmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the beach goes all along the sea front.There are shops and restaurants, and the best of all; it has not been spoilt by mass tourism.
The house is located on the outskirts, in a quiet area on a hill, with excellent views both seawards and to the inland hills.
Other activities
Excellent beach free of charge.The 'gym' is an outdoor activity area with various installations for self-training. Much used by young and old after sunset.Trips to nearby tourist attractions, like Pergamon, Ephesus.
Shopping trips to Izmir, to the covered Bazaar Kemer Alti
Boat trip from Eski Foca to the Greek island of Lesbos (2 hours)
Walk (or bike ride) 6 km up to the village of Kozbeyli where a lot of arts and crafts are sold.
Local events
Weekly market day on Wednesdays, in Kozbeyli on Sundays (Well worth a visit!).Some festivals during the summer season.
