This is an intimate and peaceful honeymoon cottage in Tuscany that has been fully restored to its original charm. It is enclosed by a stonewalled garden that offers complete privacy for your honeymoon in Tuscany. You can relax and dine in the garden surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest and magnificent views of the surrounding hills dotted with Villas, hamlets and medieval villages. It is a perfect location for exploring the region of Tuscany and the discovering the enchantment of Florence.
Set on the hills over the Arno Valley, this honeymoon cottage is on a splendid estate, with well-manicured gardens. The Typical Tuscan furniture, wooden beams, terracotta floors and large French style windows are the high-points of this cottage.
The cottage has a large fully equipped eat-in kitchen. There is an independent, spacious living room with lounges, library and large French doors that open onto the garden. There is a double pullout sofa bed in the living room with a proper mattress and can be used as a bed. The bathroom has a tub with shower and it can be accessed from the living room also. There is a large double bedroom with an additional single bed. There is air conditioning in the living area and fans in the bedroom.
The local restaurants, some of which are noted as the best in Italy offer memorable dining experiences. Relax at the cottage, sipping a glass of our wine and enjoy the magnificent Tuscan country lifestyle. Take walks in the forest and along the cobble stone roads on the hill where there is nothing to distract you from the gentle slopping landscape other than a farmhouse or monastery, or discover the many local attractions such as horse riding, trekking, antique markets, local medieval villages and Etruscan ruins.
Trains, buses and all shops are within walking distance and all major highways are close by. From here, it is just 20mins to Montecatini; 40 mins to Pisa / Lucca / Siena/ Monteriggione/ Bologna; 60 mins to Forte Dei Marmi/ Volterra / San Gimignano/ Arezzo
