Cottage Leonora is a sunny independent cottage very peaceful and private located on an estate that has a large forest, vineyards and olive groves. The cottage accommodates 4 -6 people. It is a magnificent and spacious, 120m2 SINGLE DWELLING. Its just 10 mins from Florence center and at the same time lets you experience the authentic country living.
There is local shops and transport which can be reached by foot.
12m high ceilings, wooden beams, terracotta floors and large windows that open onto the gorgeous Renaissance garden characterize the house. The foundations date back to the 1200’s and the property has been totally restored 3 years ago. From the living room 2 sets of double windows open onto the very typical Italian style gardens with lemon trees, hedges and fountain. The ground floor has a large open living area with arches dividing the dining and sitting area. There is also a twin bedroom and private bathroom with shower. In the living room is also a day bed for a further 2 persons.
The farmhouse is adorned with stylish furnishings.
On the second floor the steps lead to the large double bedroom and private bathroom with bath and shower.
You can either enjoy "Al Fresco" dining or relax in your private garden .
There is a large in ground swimming pool (12x6m) set amongst the olive trees and is shared with the other guests.
A perfect location to discover Florence and enjoy the real Tuscan countryside.
From here, it is just 20mins to Montecatini.40 mins to Pisa / Lucca / Siena/ Bologna. 60 mins to Forte Dei Marmi/ Volterra/ San Gimignano/ Arezzo etc.
The property produces fantastic extra virgin olive oil and wine available for purchase.
The owners speak; English, French, German and Italian.
