Description of holiday cottage near St Davids, Pembrokeshire

Chapel Studio offers compact and comfortable luxury stone built studio style accommodation for one or two people.

The studio room contains a fully equipped built-in kitchen with electric cooker, a double bed, and dining and easy chairs etc. Parquet flooring extends throughout to include the hall and shower room with basin and WC.

There is a small loft sleeping space under the wood panelled ceiling which is only suitable for the more agile and can be made up by prior arrangement.

An airy and spacious atmosphere is created by large south facing windows overlooking its own private, secluded and furnished walled garden from where the sun, the stillness and the unusually clear night skies may be enjoyed.

Heating is by log stove, for which all fuel is provided, or electric radiator. A reasonable amount of electricity is included. All bedding, including cotton bed linen, tea towels and utensils are provided but personal towels are not.

No TV is provided and if you bring your own please note there is no analogue signal in the area. There is a radio/cassette/CD player.

Regrettably, no smoking in the building and no pets please.

Chapel Studio is a ground floor cottage. There are two low steps at its entrance.

Location description

Treleddid Fawr, a small hamlet on the north western tip of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is set against a rocky outcrop which overlooks St. Davids and Skomer Island to the south and Whitesands Bay and Ramsey island to the west. It is at the end of a minor road.

The coast path, and its isolated seal breeding coves, are easily accessible. Whitesands and Porth Melgan beaches and the cathedral city of St. Davids are less than two miles away.

Footpaths lead to the coast path or across moors in other directions with stunning scenery and wonderful walking in unspoilt landscapes.

Other activities

There are island boat trips, fishing and water sports on river and sea and a nine-hole golf course overlooking Whitesands Bay.
