Come visit our Pink Hibiscus Cottage, a 2 bed, 2 bath vacation home in beautiful tranquil Russell Island - Spanish Wells, Bahamas. This cottage is fully furnished, and can accommodate 1-4 guests. We have central a/c, cable tv, internet service, kayaks and adult bikes. The Pink Hibiscus Cottage is waterfront with sea access for snorkeling, relaxing in a noodle chair, or kayaking. You have a breathtaking ocean view.

Beautiful Spanish Wells beach nearby. Arrange for a local fishing or snorkeling trip, or take a day trip to Harbour Island. Our cottage is only an hour's flight from Fort Lauderdale or Miami, Florida, or a 20 minute flight from Nassau. Once you arrive, a golf cart is highly recommended to get around the island area during your stay.

We have a local Caretaker to greet you upon arrival to Spanish Wells to take you or show you the way to the Pink Hibiscus Cottage rental in nearby Russell Island. Pictures just don't do justice to actually being here at the Pink Hibiscus property. The turquoise water here is absolutely gorgeous with the view of the surrounding cays. It is such a great place to relax and have a peaceful tropical island vacation. We welcome your visit!

Location description

Russell Island, (a 2 x 4 mile island) is attached to Spanish Wells a (1 x 3 mile island) by a tiny bridge. Spanish Wells is where the town activity, restaurants, grocery stores, etc is, and Russell Island is less developed with homes sparsley scattered. From the Pink Hibiscus Cottage, you can see Spanish Wells Beach in the distance (only a couple blocks by kayak or a short golf cart ride). Spanish Wells is a fishing village located about a 1/2 mile off coast of the northern tip of Eleuthera. This is a friendly area where water sports, snorkeling fishing and boating are the primary things to do on vacation here.

Directions

Your can arrive to Spanish Wells either by plane or boat. From North Eleuthera Airport, there is a local service in Spanish Wells that will provide combined ground taxi (10 minute ground ride) and then a 5 minute boat ferry ride to Spanish Wells. Or, you may take the 2 hr Ferry from Nassau which arrives most daily to Spanish Wells direct. Once you get to the Spanish Wells dock you may retrieve your rented golf cart (highly recommended to rent to get around the Spanish Wells - Russell Island area). From there, our local Caretaker will greet you and you can either ride over with or follow the Caretaker for a short ride to the Pink Hibiscus Cottage in Russell Island where you will be staying.
