A two bedroomed, stone-built cottage in Garsdale, near the market town of Sedbergh, Whitbeck cottage is ideally sited for a restful break. For the more energetic the Howgill fells are but a stones throw away.

Ground Floor: the front door opens into the comfortable, light living room with coal effect electric fire set on a stone hearth. Stereo, TV and video with a selection of music and videos.

Stairs lead off through a door to the upper floor, whilst the other door leads to the kitchen/dining room - another bright and airy room with new pine fittings.

First Floor: One large double bedroom with view to the front - shown here.

First Floor: One further bedroom with window seat and views to the river (the view from rear bedroom is shown opposite). This room has sleeping accommodation for up to three.

Bathroom with three piece suite and shower over bath.

Facilities: Electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, automatic washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. Colour TV, video player with large selection of videos and CD player/radio. Local, UV filtered spring tap water is serviced to the property. Bed linen is included, but please bring your own towels. Garden and private parking. Picnic benches provided for outdoor eating. Well behaved pets can be accommodated; please advise on booking.

Tesco in Kendal will now deliver to the cottage.

The river Clough runs through the field behind, offering the opportunity for paddling or fishing as the mood takes. Access involves climbing a style and climbing down the river bank.
