Cottage "La Fontaine" is charming and cozy but also spacious and comfortable with lots of original features. The entire cottage and outbuildings have been rewired and a completely new modern bathroom with jacuzzi and a new modern practical kitchen are installed which combine the best of modern comfort with authentic French living. Though "La Fontaine" is restorated to modern, high standards you will still find the authentic 18th century charm. It offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The cottage is equipped with Satellite TV (UK Freesat channels), stereo players, DVD and CD and offers on top of that a Wifi broadband internet connection including free landline telephone connections (even international) and French TV.
This spacious cottage is dominated by thick whitewashed stone walls, wooden floors, old oak beams and features eye catching authentic woodwork.
"La Fontaine" offers one unique feature which distinguishes this dwelling from others: It's a mere 150 meter walk along a kiwi orchard before you reach the beautiful pebbled river beaches. No other houses, no traffic, only 100% nature.
The cottage is the ideal place for hiking, cycling, white water activities and fishing. Why not go skiing in the Pyrenees in the morning and go surfing in Biarritz in the afternoon. Here you can have the best of both worlds.

We can also offer monthly rentals from € 575 per month for long term lets from November to April. A non-refundable booking deposit of 30% is required with the balance payment due 6 weeks prior to your holiday starting date. If you book within 6 weeks of your holiday the full amount is payable. A security deposit of € 300 (refundable) is also required which is payable by cheque on arrival.
