The Casa da Boa Fonte is a unit of the north-east Portuguese traditional architectural style of the early 20th century, constituted of two bodies: the original House and the old Granary, now adapted the habitation.
The implantation of the Casa da Boa Fonte, in a land of “socalcos” and vineyards, provides a pleasant one seen panoramic, where stand out the notable silhouette of the "Senhor do Socorro" Sanctuary.
The name of the House must, exactly, to the proximity of one of the many sources of the rural parish of the “Labruja”.
Beyond its natural vocation as unit of lodging, makes use of a framing notable, inside a net of itineraries, valley or mountain, either for "Serra D´Arga" or "Peneda/Gerês".
The investment in the reconstruction and remodeling of the "Casa da Boa Fonte", integrating the requalification of the constructed spaces and treatment of the exterior spaces, had aimed at to provide offer tourist of lodging. The Living Room is placed in the first floor. It makes use of a space for Meals, contiguous to a rest area, reading, leisure and TV. In the same floor it is located the Kitchen. From the Living Room we can access the Terrace, also used as exterior space for meal and leisure, that allows to support the Swimming Pool located in a superior platform to the one of the implantation of the Houses.
