Description of holiday cottage in Noss Mayo, South West
Our six peaceful cottages are dotted around our working organic dairy farm, set in unspoilt countryside on the beautiful South Devon coast. All our cottages are just a few minutes walk from the coast path and some lovely remote beaches and coves, whilst the wilderness of Dartmoor is only a short drive away. The wonderful Erme estuary and Mothecombe beach, with over 130 acres of sand at low tide, is just a couple of miles away.
Explore the nearby picturesque towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe or visit the historic port of Plymouth. Why not visit out of season and cosy down by a roaring log fire, or come and see the lambs in spring? Short breaks available November to March.
We put fresh local organic milk in each cottage for guests on arrival. Carswell is also the birthplace of the Well Hung Meat Company so our visitors can taste award winning local organic lamb and beef.
All the cottages are extremely well equipped with Digital widescreen TVs, DVDs, washing machines, dishwashers etc and all have private gardens with table and BBQ. Cots and high chairs available on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome in The Lodge, Spring, Corner and Shepherd’s Cottages.
Open all year. 6 cottages sleeping from 2 to 14 (42 people in total).
