Our luxury holiday cottage, offers the finest accommodation for an idyllic holiday in Scotland. Located in the beautiful rural hamlet of East Fortune, near North Berwick yet only 20 miles from the historic city of Edinburgh. East Fortune Farm offers a great location for a holiday.
East Lothian is a popular holiday destination, with guests drawn to the area for its gentle rolling hills, broad open plains and fine stretch of coastline plus some do say the weather is always better in the East!
The surrounding area is a golfer's paradise with several courses within easy reach of the farm. These include championship courses at Gullane and Muirfield and other good courses at Aberlady, Craiglaw, Gifford and North Berwick. If you are on a family holiday the miles of beautiful golden beaches will keep the children happy.
Our luxury holiday cottage can accommodate 6 guests plus cot and is furnished to be both comfortable and modern. Each bedroom can be arranged as superking or twin, with the master bedroom having en-suite facilities.

Directions
Travel Advice
From North:
Take A720 by-pass to go east of Edinburgh then take the A1 south. Follow the A1 until the Abbotsview Junction; branch left signposted A199 Haddington, North Berwick, East Linton. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A199, signposted East Linton. Continue on the A199 for about 2 miles then turn left onto the B1347. After 2.5 miles turn right onto the B1377 signposted East Fortune. Follow the road for about 600 yards until you see a row of cottages. No 8 is the last cottage on the left nearest the road, at the top of the small hill. Turn sharp left into No.8’s private driveway at the rear of the cottage.
From South:
Take A1 north towards Edinburgh. When at Dunbar at Spott Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A1, still signposted Edinburgh. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A199 signposted East Linton, North Berwick. At Beltonford Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A199 sign posted Edinburgh, East Linton. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit into East Linton. Once over the bridge turn right onto the High Street. Continue on through East Linton for about 3 miles. At the crossroads turn left onto the B1377 signposted East Fortune, Athelstaneford. Once over the railway bridge East Fortune Farm is on the right after ½ mile. Turn off the road into the farm and the driveway to No. 8 is on the left.
