Yethouse is a traditional farmhouse set in its own secure grounds with ample space for friends or families to kick back unwind and relax.

Recently upgraded but retaining many of its original features. It offers 3 bedrooms, (sleeping 6, or 8 by arrangement) three bathrooms, (1 en-suite) a large cosy lounge with open fire, separate parlour also with open fire, large dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a large library of books, CD's, DVDs and games as well as a 42 inch plasma flat screen TV with satellite services.FREE WIFI

We provide a lock up and hose for bikes or rods. All central heating is included plus the first set of logs and coal.

There is off road parking for 2 cars. Two dogs are welcome during your stay. The village of Newcastleton offers all local amenities

Travelling North are the historic market towns of Hawick, Jedburgh, and Kelso. Glasgow and Edinburgh are within a 2 hour drive.

Location description

The small village of Newcastleton, nestles in the valley of Liddesdale, gateway to the Scottish Borders. Surrounded by hills and forests with fabulous scenery, abundant wild life and historical sites. From mountain biking on the 7stanes to walking, golf and fishing.

Five hundred years ago the hills would be ringing with the sound of clashing steel and fighting Reivers, today visitors experience a warm welcome.

7stanes mountain bike trails, Kielder Water and Forest Park, Hadrians Wall, Border towns of Hawick, Langholm, Melrose and Jedburgh. Hermitage castle, home of the Earl of St.Boswell
