    A boutique, country chic, beautifully restored 1750 farmhouse - Yew Tree Cottage, is in a picturesque village surrounded by farmland, on the edge of the Howardian Hills, and the North Yorkshire Moors; an area of outstanding natural beauty.

    Sleeping up to six guests, it's the perfect place in which to relax and unwind and a fantastic base to explore the surroundings of York, the Moors, the Coast and the Dales.

    The cottage has a fully fitted and well equipped family sized kitchen, separate dining room and a generously sized, comfortable living room with wood stove and open fire. We'll provide enough wood to keep the wood burner going for your entire stay.

    The cottage is equipped with WiFi broadband access so that those of you who just can't leave work behind can check the world is still functioning whilst you're away.

    There are digital plasma screen TVs in the lounge and main bedroom with DVD players, iPod docks and an extensive book and DVD collection for your use on rainy days.

    For those with families we can arrange high chair, cot, and other amenities.

    Outside in the garden, there's a large table and chairs and family barbecue to enjoy the beautiful country garden when the weather is good.

    Upon arrival, enjoy your welcome hamper to get you started. You'll find fresh bread, butter, milk, eggs, and a complimentary bottle of wine. The local milk-man can also deliver the weekend papers to your door.
