Meikle Barfil Farmhouse is a unique, detached property situated in beautiful rural Dumfries and Galloway. It offers stunning views across the countryside and down to our own private loch. The cottage has 3/4 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people + a cot. It offers:
*1 double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, all with stunning views
*A boxroom, suitable for a cot.
*A main bathroom on the ground floor and a toilet and basin upstairs.
*A fully equipped, spacious kitchen.
*A dining room with seating for 6, lcd televisions and dvd player.
*A separate, comfortable lounge with widescreen TV, digital box and DVD player.
*Central heating and an oil fired stove in the lounge.
*A patio, barbecue and a large garden with outdoor table and chairs.
*Linen, hand towels, bath mats and tea towels provided. Please bring your own bath towels, unless travelling from abroad. Please tell us and we will provide bath towels also.
*One well behaved pet welcome.
*Fuel for heating and electricity included in rental cost.

Location description
Dumfries and Galloway offers visitors an abundance of activities during their stay, from watersports to horse riding and from indoor play centres to farm parks for children. There are many mountain bike tracks and the farmhouse is central for the Seven Stanes courses. There are numerous golf courses nearby. There is any amount of forests walks and cycle routes along with opportunities to visit wildlife centres and historic castles. The nearby beaches are beautiful and within a short drive of the farmhouse. From Drummore roundabout on A75, turn left. Follow road until you reach crossroads. Turn right. Drive through village of Lochfoot. Follow road for a further 2 and three quarter miles and the turn off for Meikle Barfil is on right. Follow drive up for 0.5 miles. Farmhouse is at top.
