    Lavender is a charming and spacious, two-bedroom (one double and one twin), pet friendly property.

    The open plan layout on the ground floor comprises kitchen, diner and lounge area (newly tiled contemporary flooring throughout), incorporating a wood burning stove, the two bedrooms on first floor are attractive and stylish, with crisp cotton bedding and cosy, soft throws.

    Fast speed broadband is available and access is complementary.

    A new bathroom has recently been installed with light and modern fittings, incorporating a heated towel rail and large powerful walk-in shower.

    Lavender has a private patio - a sunny and relaxed area in which to wind down with a glass of something cold whilst enjoying the lovely views to the main 1acre garden. Parking for 2 cars is available on-site.

    Badgers Sett is located to the edge of Bodmin Moor, surrounded by beautiful countryside. Both the A30 and A38 are within easy reach, enabling guests to access the best that Cornwall has to offer.

    Trevenna, The Green and Bocconoc are close by, making us a popular choice of stay for guests attending weddings at these venues.

    Major attractions such as Lanhydrock House (NT) and the Eden Project are very close by, plus local walks, water sports and sites of historical interest. Fishing, cycling and birdwatching are available. Cycle hire can be arranged and delivered to the cottage.

    Both the north and south coast are just a short drive away, with the gorgeous sandy beaches of Padstow, Polzeath and Newquay to the North and Looe, Mevagissey and Fowey to the South.

    The cottages were converted from barns belonging to the original farmhouse, which dates back to 1640. Each property has been renovated sympathetically, retaining the original character, yet adding many modern facilities. All three have been awarded a four Star Gold from Visit England/AA.

    Lavender Cottage part of Badgers Sett Holiday Cottages is located one mile from Golitha falls in an idyllic location along a quiet country lane, yet both the A30 and A38 are easily accessible.

    The gardens offer a peaceful location to relax or play. Walks through quiet lanes, woodlands, open fields and open moorland are all within walking distance.

    There is a wide variety of wildlife and birds, ideal for the birdwatcher.

    There are many rivers and lakes nearby for the angler. Minions and its historic and natural attractions, Siblyback lake with its variety of water sports and Lanhydrock House (NT) are all nearby.

    Both the north and south coast are easily reached, giving access to Wadebridge, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel. and Newquay - all on the north coast and Looe, Mevagissey and Fowey on the south coast.
