Our Cortijo for holiday lets in La Parrilla is situated deep in the heart of rural Andalucia on the borders of Malaga & Cordoba provinces inland Spain. This area is famous for the quality of its Olive Oil.

Casa Limon, La Parrilla cottage
There is access from the first floor hallway to a private sun terrace/patio equipped with table, easy chairs and a parasol with steps down to the lower patio which also has a table with chairs, parasol and a gas BBQ.

There is easy access to the 8x4 metre shared swimming pool with roman steps to one end, with sun loungers, tables, parasols and a gazebo sheltered area. There is also an outdoor shower for pre and post swimming. This is all tiled over and enjoys views over the Olive groves and our gardens.The pool is usually available from April to October but is subject to the weather.

Casa Limon is a converted cottage enjoying a great deal of privacy with two terraces’ and private entrances.
This property offers accommodation for 4 or 5 people and comprises the following:

Living Room
Located on the ground floor with a kitchen to one end, two settee’s T.V. DVD player with DVD’s available, Free view satellite programmes and CD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge, gas hob, toaster, and all necessary crockery & cutlery items. Access to the first floor is via a spiral internal staircase.

First floor
Bathroom, fully tiled with bath and shower unit over, WC, & wash hand basin

Bedroom 1 with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table/drawers, ceiling fan and lovely views across the valley.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, wardrobe, dressing table/drawers, ceiling fan. An additional bed or cot is available, as an extra cost item, upon request.

All bed linen and towels are provided on a weekly basis and will be changed should you stay for 2 weeks or longer. A washing service is available at an extra cost.
Prices are inclusive of gas & electricity and fans are supplied for the warmer months.

Central heating is now available as are portable heaters.

Location description

Our location is ideal for day tips to the beautiful cultural centres of Granada, Cordoba, Málaga and Sevilla and there are many natural parks in the surrounding area. The Mediterranean coast is less than an hours drive with clear waters, great beaches and plenty of attractions for all the family.

Whisky Masterclass
A new experience in whisky appreciation, for those who believe you should enjoy this complex product, Roger will open your taste buds and eyes to the best Single Malts, with a few surprises in store, allow at least 1 hour and 30 mins.

For this mini Master class, you should ensure you have eaten a good meal prior to this experience in order to get the most from this evening of whisky appreciation in Spain.

Walking tours inland spain
Are readily available to suit your preference and are bookable with Roger or Elizabeth, the choices are endless with good local tours for a short ramble of 4 hours or a drive by 4x4 vehicle for a full walk, all levels and experiences catered for.

We do not advise a long walk in the heat of the day, neither would your guide.

Birding Tours in andalucia
Our local expert Doreen will take you on a tour of your choice, in her 4x4 vehicle where you can select from Vultures in the wild to Bee eaters, Greater Flamingos, Waders, Alpine Warblers, Blue rock Thrush, Hoopoes & many more.

The choice as always is yours, but the Vultures are absolutely amazing.
