An ideal base for exploring the many beauty spots of Norfolk and Suffolk, including the Norfolk Broads National Park.

Gorleston is Norfolk's 'best kept secret' with its golden sandy beach (Lifeguard patrolled), perfect for bathing, building sand castles, watersports, windsurfing, etc. Adjacent is the paddling pool and yacht pond. The nearby Pavilion Theatre has a variety of entertainment all year round to suit all ages and tastes.

Gorleston Bandstand is in sight and sound of the cottage. Enjoy a Summer Sunday afternoon relaxing to a variety of bands.

On the cliff top there are beautiful lawns, tennis courts, bowling greens, a children’s ‘Pirate Ship’ play area, putting green and a trim-trail.

The river, just 100 metres away, is one of two entrances to the Norfolk Broads. Gorleston Pier is a favourite spot for sea anglers offering a good variety of fishing all year round.
