This spacious, fully modernised property is on two floors. Downstairs there is a lounge, (with feature fireplace with woodburning stove), and dining room, as well as kitchen, shower room and utility room. There is also a single bedroom downstairs. The other two bright and airy bedrooms are upstairs. One has double bed; the other a kingsize and single bed. A small, private garden outside overlooks the harbour and marina.

The cottage is spacious, cosy, comfortable and well equipped with everything you will need to make this your home-from-home. Cosy coordinated bedding; central heating and double glazing ,will keep you warm if the weather is cooler outside. Younger visitors will appreciate the selection of DVDs, games, etc.

A stone's throw from small beach and harbour. Small private garden has view over marina. The coastal scenery in this area is spectacular - sandy beaches; rugged cliffs; caves and rock pools.

Findochty is a peaceful haven where you can relax or use a base to visit the many attractions that North East Scotland and the Highlands have to offer - golf; unspoilt sandy beaches and majestic cliffs; highland games; whisky trail; castles; speyside way; mountains; etc.

Location description

Findochty is centrally situated between the rolling farmlands and low hills of Aberdeenshire to the East; Royal Deeside in the South; the high mountains of the Cairngorms in the South-West; and Inverness, the capital of the Highlands in the West. These are all within a sixty mile (100 km) radius. the Moray Coast enjoys long hours of daylight in the summer, with spectacular sunsets.

Other activities

The Moray Firth coast is a nature lovers paradise. The coastline varies from rugged cliffs to sandy beaches, teeming with wildlife - dolphins, seals, seabirds, etc. For the sports enthusiast, there are watersports, golf, fishing, hillwalking, etc.
