This delightful lodge is situated within the old walled garden and enjoys a peaceful location adjacent to the Keepers Cottages. A private deck area enables a leisurely breakfast or alfresco meals, barbeque equipment is available.
A large hot tub will accommodate four to eight adults to soak away the stresses of modern life. Keepers Lodge also has a small deck on the south west side to while away a sunny day and watch life go by.
An impressive living area, sumptuous seating on beautiful settees providing a comfortable sitting area to relax or to view the flat screen digital TV with the benefit of cinema surround sound and a DVD player. Complete with electric under floor heating high levels of insulation and double-glazing throughout.
The kitchen is furnished with bespoke hand made pine kitchen units. Equipped to a very high standard with Ceramic Hob, Fan Assisted Oven, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Freezer, Washing machine and Tumble Dryer, Stainless Steel Microwave, Delonghi Toaster and Kettle.
A comprehensive range of crockery, cutlery, cookware and cooking utensils are provided. Further storage for vacuum cleaner, floor cleaning pads, cleaning materials, dishwasher tablets, iron and ironing board are provided.
The Dining area with a cathedral ceiling and views to the gallery above complemented by the quality rustic pine furniture and comfortable leather covered dining chairs for ten around a substantial pine dining table.
The ground floor master bedroom is superbly appointed with a king size carved bed and has an easterly aspect through a glazed door. Equipped with a flat screened TV and along with the Family Bathroom is served by a stereo CD and Radio Tuner.
The beautifully appointed fully tiled en-suite has a magnificent shower, shaver socket, illuminated heated mirror and heated towel rail.

All Bedrooms have fitted carpets, heating by a stylish Calidou cast iron radiators and beds with memory foam mattresses.
A magnificent fully tiled family bathroom complete with whirlpool bath and telephone style hand shower, shaver socket, illuminated heated mirror and heated towel rail. Speakers enable stereo radio or CD’s from the master Bedroom.

Directions
From the end of the M5, Hillfield is about forty miles and one hour away. At the south end of the M5 the road splits in two, bear to the right following the signs A38 Plymouth and go up Telegraph Hill. After 15 miles, just past Ashburton, bear left at the Buckfast junction and take A384 left to TOTNES.
You are now 35 minutes and 16 miles away from Hillfield Village. If you wish to stop for shopping, there is a Morison’s Superstore in Totnes, open weekdays until 8.00 pm and Sundays until 4.00 pm – this is straight over at the lights and towards the town centre.
If you do not make a shopping detour, turn right at the first set of lights in Totnes, following the signs to Dartmouth, and proceed straight on for five miles and go through Harbertonford into Halwell and turn left up a steep hill, again following the signs to Dartmouth.
After two miles go past the Woodlands Leisure Park on your right and the Dartmouth Golf Club on your left and straight on just past the Garden Centre on your right; slow down here and take the first narrow turning right signposted ‘Ash’ just before the Sportsman’s Arms on your left. There is also a brown sign to ‘Fast Rabbit Farm’ which helps as a useful marker.
You have now entered our narrow Devon lanes and utmost caution should be exercised at all time, please do not drive faster than you can see to stop! Travel one mile to the next junction, turn right and proceed straight ahead a short distance until you reach Hillfields main gate.
On entering Hillfield Village please drive with caution at all times Hillfield is a “Free Range Children’s Area”, they have priority, follow the signs to the Reception in front of and just beyond Hillfield House.
