Description of holiday cottage in Dartmouth, South West
These delightful cottages have been designed and furnished to the very highest standards with sumptuous settees, oak furniture, locally sourced Kitchens with granite worktops, fully-tiled bathrooms, under-floor heating, Karndene flooring and flat screen TV’s and DVD with cinema surround sound. All beds have high quality memory foam mattresses and all bed linen and bath/hand towels are provided. A private deck area at the front of each cottage along with a first floor balcony overlooking the tennis court.
Lounge / Dining Room the cottages each have an impressive living area with sumptuous seating provides a comfortable area to relax or watch TV. Leather covered dining chairs around an oak dining table. Kitchen the bespoke Kitchens are equipped to a very high standard with ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave.
Bedrooms each cottage has a master bedroom with a king-size oak bed, flat-screen TV,DVD/CD player that can be played in the bedroom and the bathroom. The bathroom with whirlpool bath with shower over, shaver socket, illuminated heated mirror and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 on the first floor has the benefit of French windows onto the balcony has twin oak beds and en-suite shower room with shower, shaver socket, illuminated heated mirror and heated towel rail
A travel cot is available for the smaller guest along with a highchair, stair gate, Babysitting can be organised too, (see below). We also don't expect you to bring those necessities like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls etc. It’s all there for you to use.

Directions
From the end of the M5, Hillfield is about forty miles and one hour away. At the south end of the M5 the road splits in two, bear to the right following the signs A38 Plymouth and go up Telegraph Hill. After 15 miles, just past Ashburton, bear left at the Buckfast junction and take A384 left to TOTNES.
You are now 35 minutes and 16 miles away from Hillfield Village. If you wish to stop for shopping, there is a Morison’s Superstore in Totnes, open weekdays until 8.00 pm and Sundays until 4.00 pm – this is straight over at the lights and towards the town centre.
If you do not make a shopping detour, turn right at the first set of lights in Totnes, following the signs to Dartmouth, and proceed straight on for five miles and go through Harbertonford into Halwell and turn left up a steep hill, again following the signs to Dartmouth.
After two miles go past the Woodlands Leisure Park on your right and the Dartmouth Golf Club on your left and straight on just past the Garden Centre on your right; slow down here and take the first narrow turning right signposted ‘Ash’ just before the Sportsman’s Arms on your left. There is also a brown sign to ‘Fast Rabbit Farm’ which helps as a useful marker.
You have now entered our narrow Devon lanes and utmost caution should be exercised at all time, please do not drive faster than you can see to stop! Travel one mile to the next junction, turn right and proceed straight ahead a short distance until you reach Hillfields main gate.
On entering Hillfield Village please drive with caution at all times Hillfield is a “Free Range Children’s Area”, they have priority, follow the signs to the Reception in front of and just beyond Hillfield House.
