The Robins Cottage, Stone cottage for TWO near the Peak District

THE ROBINS (right side) & THE SWALLOWS
 (1/10)

Description of holiday cottage in Chesterfield, Peak District / East Midlands

The Robins Cottage (and The Swallows Cottage) were converted from our 200 year old stone barn - Cowclose Barn. We have retained many original features such as oak beams, stone buttresses and original brickwork. The Robins is a spacious cottage ideal for a couple. It is well furnished and equipped, clean and comfortable. We have bespoke pine furniture in the large double bedroom.

There is a comfortable sofabed in the lounge. This may be suitable for guests with limited mobility. The bathroom is downstairs.

There is space in the bedroom for a cot or child's bed. There are toys for young children and an outdoor playhouse.

There is a large garden, shared with The Swallows, and a patio for barbeques. We grow vegetables as well as flowers. In the new orchard there is a wildlife pond and an area for wildflowers. From the door there are easy walks in the local area. There are sheep and cows in the adjoining fields.
