Situated in a secluded rural setting in the Blackdown Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is also not far from the stunning Jurassic Coast and wonderful East Devon beaches. The cottage whilst retaining its old world charms provides the conveniences of modern life.

Ground Floor: Hall with downstairs cloakroom. Fully equipped, 'traditional farmhouse' kitchen; with both AGA, electric oven and hob, dishwasher and breakfast area. Bright, spacious double aspect 27 ft sitting room with dining room for 6 and featuring the huge original stone fireplace with modern log burner.

First Floor: master king size-bedroom; spacious single room and twin bedroom. Family bathroom.

The gardens extend to over 1/3 of an acre of sweeping lawns, with glorious and extensive countryside views and not another house in sight. Please note the drive, although short, is very steep and needs negotiating with care.

Chardstock, 1 mile away, is a pretty country village with a lovely thatched pub and local shop. Close by also is the popular 'Barley Mows' Farm Shop, along with many other places and pubs, notable for their food.

Canterbury Cottage combines country seclusion with good transport links, by train from Axminster, to Waterloo or Plymouth and by road, being not far from the A303, A30 and M5; all major routes to and from the West Country.

The closest towns are Axminster and Chard and it is also conveniently located for Bridport, Dorchester, Exeter and Dartmoor, Exmouth, Honiton, Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth, Taunton, Weymouth and Yeovil.
