Marhayes is one of our large converted stone barns. It offers spacious open plan living downstairs and three generous en-suite bedrooms upstairs. Recently refurbished using traditional materials such as slate and granite; Marhayes mixes character with modern comfort.
Marhayes sleeps 6 in a double, a twin and a large double room. Two rooms have four poster beds one of which is king-size. All the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and there is an additional family bathroom downstairs. A separate utility room with space for drying waterproofs or dogs makes this a perfect base for families who love the outdoors. A terrace runs along the whole front of the house with spectacular views, a bar-b-q and picnic table. A range cooker, wood-burner and washer dryer all add to the feeling of a dream home-from-home.
Marhayes is built at right-angles with Westhayes and they share an open-plan garden.
Westhayes is the second of the two 200 year old barns at Helsbury Park to have been converted into spacious holiday accommodation. It has also recently been refurbished to maximise its charm and comfort with luxuries such as a range cooker, wood burner and four-poster beds.
The living accommodation offers a generous kitchen diner and separate sitting room with a stunning galleried staircase in between.
Westhayes sleeps 6 in three bedrooms, two having king-size four-posters and one twin. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom while the other two have en suite shower rooms. There is a further toilet on the ground floor and an additional utility room with washer-dryer.
Broadview is a light and airy single storey bungalow is set apart from the rest of the site with its own entrance and an enclosed garden with sun deck and barbecue area. We were delighted when this property was awarded 5 stars recognising it as equal in quality to the traditional barns.
Sleeping 5 in one double, one king size and one single bedroom, Broadview has one family bathroom, a wet room with walk in shower and an additional separate toilet. Broadview has a well equipped, bright dining kitchen, a separate utility room and a warm, comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove and picture window. The floors throughout the main living areas are oak and slate in keeping with our commitment to using luxury and traditional materials.

Location description
Broadview is visible first with some tall fir trees next to it and is accessed through the field gate just before the main Helsbury Park entrance. There are stone markers either side of the main entrance. As you drive down the lane the barns are to the right through a set of wrought iron gates. Marhayes is the first barn, with Westhayes behind it.Directions
Take the M5 to Exeter, then the A30 towards Bodmin. Just after Launceston take the exit signposted to North Cornwall / Camelford / Wadebridge A395. Follow this road until it meets the A39. Turn left onto the A39 towards Camelford and Wadebridge. Once through Camelford take a left hand turn signposted to Bodmin on the B3266, just after the BP garage. Two miles along this road on the left hand side you will find Helsbury Park.
