Description of holiday cottage near Bude, South West
These Cornish holiday cottages were converted from 19th century farm buildings in a wonderful rural position with stunning views over the countryside to the Atlantic.
They are situated up a quiet rural lane with six other cottages with a shared tennis court on site, and next to a quiet 9 hole golf course. Local amenities are 2 miles away.
The cottages are open plan downstairs. The kitchens have an an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge freezer and washing machine and a coin operated tumble dryer is available for use in the communal laundry room off the main courtyard.
Electric heaters are provided to keep you cosy in the colder months (however a note of caution for guests with little ones, as they can get hot).
Upstairs each cottage has a double room and either a twin or full size bunks. A travel cot may be accomodated. Off a small landing is the bathroom with bath and electric shower.
Bedlinen and hand towels are provided and both cottages are strictly non smoking.
Just a few miles from some of the beautiful beaches North Cornwall has to offer they are ideally situated for a relaxing seaside break, surfing holiday and coastal walks.
These self-catering country cottages provide a great base for exploring eastwards into North Devon including Clovelly and Hartland Abbey. Expand your visit further into Cornwall visiting historic St Ives and magical Tintagel. Padstow might provide a gastronomic experience. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan lie to the south.

Directions
Easiest access is by road due to rural location. The cottage can be found just turning off A39 at Bush.
The local railway station at Bude closed some time ago. Although Barnstaple is close, I think train access is simplest by going to Exeter and then by bus to Bude.
