Description of holiday cottage in Brighton and Hove, South East

This beautiful victorian cottage over 120 years old has been gorgeously styled making it comfortable and restful. Perfect for a romantic break any time of the year.
It is situated in the fashionable North Laines area of Brighton, a short walk to the Brighton seafront.

Downstairs
You have a lounge with wooden floors with a 2 seater and a 3 seater leather sofa which are very comfortable and relaxing. It also has a 42'' plasma tv with Freeview channels.

The lounge leads into a clean and modern kitchen with a cosy dining area for 4 people..

The bathroom is also downstairs where you can enjoy a nice and powerful shower and body massage from the jets. The bathroom is very clean, modern and has a wow factor.

The lounge leads to the bedrooms via a spiral staircase as in the picture. It might not be suitable for some people. If uncertain please enquire.

Upstairs
There are two bedrooms upstairs both with double beds. The beds have memory foam mattresses and pillows which are very comfortable and perfect for a good nights sleep.. Both the bedrooms have wooden floors.

The Master bedroom has a wardrobe with full size mirror and a chest of drawers/ dresser. While the other bedroom has a bedside cabinet, hanging space and under the bed storage.

Location description

North Laine is an area that grew up in the 1830s when Brighton first became famous because the Prince Regent turned a modest farmhouse into a glittering exotic royal palace. In the mile between the Pavilion and Brighton station you will find 300 shops, 37 cafes, 22 pubs, 4 theatres and a world-class museum. North Laine is also home to the cultural centre of Brighton with the new library and piazza in the jubilee complex.

One thing is for sure, once you discover North Laine you will come back for more of the bohemian shopping, or maybe just to hang out at one of the excellent cafes or bars and enjoy the passing show.

Other activities

Bursting with beachfront sports and events, tranquil green spaces within the city limits, plus Brighton tourist attractions and activities for all the family, there's so much in store just waiting to be explored.

Directions

By Air:
Gatwick international airport is half an hour by road and rail from Brighton. The M23 connects Gatwick to Brighton and the London -Brighton rail link passes through Gatwick train station which is an integral part of the airport.

Heathrow international airport is on the M25 which connects with the M23 at junction 7. There is a direct coach link to Gatwick or you can take the underground (Picadilly line) to London Victoria and catch a train or coach to Brighton.

By Road:
From London: the M25/23 link provides road access from London and the rest of the country.

From east and west: the main A27 and the A259 coast road connect Brighton to citys west and east. The A259 passes right along Brighton seafront.

National Express coaches depart for Brighton from London Victoria coach station 19 times a day.
