Description
Ladybird Barn is a superb contemporary converted barn that is furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard. Dressed with luxurious and heavy curtains and oak floors throughout. An array of comfy sofas, cushions and a wonderful log fire makes Ladybird an ideal place to cuddle up in on a chilly winters day.
Off of the lounge is a modern kitchen with fitted kitchen appliances and every modern convenience you could require. Theres also a shower room and WC on the ground floor.
The remaining bedrooms - a double and twin room - are upstairs in the eaves of the barn, and look lovely with the sun illuminating the rooms via the large skylights in the bedrooms. Bed linen for all rooms are provided, along with towels, beach towels, tea towels, bath mats and environmentally friendly cleaning products.
We put a delicious welcome pack in the barn on your arrival. With home cooked cake, pasties, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, seasonal veg from our farm and some local Scrumpy Cider; Eggs are also available from our hens on the farm, just visit the Hen House!
Because we are a 53 acre working farm there is also plenty to do for both adults and children, there is a large lake where you can fish or drift around in one of our boats; a treehouse which is ideal for looking out onto Exmoor; and a large flat field for playing games of football or anything else that you desire!

Location description
An ancient rural parish, Brayford lies amidst the greenery of North Devon. Just shy of the Atlantic coast, Brayford is in a lovely situation for a family holiday combining moorland and beach. Brayford offers some delightful cottages for families and friends looking to retreat to the hills for a holiday amidst some truely beautiful and wild countryside.
Walk the dogs through Brayford's woods or barefoot paddle in the meandering River Bray as it chuckles its way down from Exmoor. A few miles outside the village as you head up onto Exmoor is The Poltimore Arms, the last pub in England still not connected to the National Grid - which hasn't stopped its charasmatic landlord from serving up some wonderful local real ales and no-nonsense pub food in a bar unchanged for decades.
