A romantic cottage, La Joya is perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries and special getaways breaks for two. The cottage is located in the spectacularly situated village of Albuñuelas overlooking the Rio Santo gorge and is filled with thoughtful details. Look for the blue "star skylights" and beautifully restored beamed ceiling in the bedroom.

The terrace enjoys lovely views over the gorge (a perfect spot to relax with a glass of something and watch the sunset). There are also the all- important invisible comforts such as underfloor heating in winter & a good shower with plenty of hot water.

La Joya also shares our "secret garden" amid the orange orchards - which can be used for picnics, BBQs or as another place to relax and enjoy the dramatic scenery and tranquil surroundings. Joya is situated close to Casa de la Lagartija, Casa de la Puerta Grande and Casa Idrisi & any of these properties can be rented out together to larger parties if desired. Car access is not possible to the house, but it is possible to park in the square nearby.
