Cottage has fully equipped kitchen, lounge with oak beams and inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, downstairs bathroom with bath & shower, upstairs bedroom with kingsize bed, single bed and ensuite washand basin and toilet. The cottage has central heating. Towels and bedlinen are provided. Guests are welcome to use our heated swimming pool (mid-May - mid-Sept) and spa hot tub and also to relax in our extensive grounds.

Location description

The county towns of Weymouth, Dorchester & Bridport are all within 15kms. Weymouth has a sandy beach and is close to the Isle of Portland sailing and diving centres. Dorchester has several important museums and churches as well as there being many historic houses and gardens to visit in the vicinity. The old rope town of Bridport provides an eclectic shopping experience and has a vibrant arts centre. Historic Abbotsbury village has many arts & craft galleries, picturesque tea rooms and here you may also visit the famous Abbotsbury Swannery, Sub-tropical Gardens and Great Tithe Barn Children's farm. Elworth hamlet is a walker's paradise with footpaths in all directions; the Dorset Coast Parth runs along the hillside above the hamlet.
