Description of holiday chalet near Morzine, Rhone-Alpes

Our family run catered chalet is set in the beautiful mountains of the Portes du Soleil, the world's largest linked ski resort with 650km of Pistes.

There are nine bedrooms which can sleep between two and four, a large comfy lounge with big open fire, honesty bar, sat tv, dvd, hifi, wifi should you need to keep in touch, a sauna for winter use, games room with table tennis, air hockey, den with Wii, games, books and toys for all ages, safe garden to build snowmen in the winter or relax in during the hot summer.

The chalet is set off the road with plenty off road parking should you choose to drive.

We have an above ground pool heated with a solar panel for summer use and a smaller children's pool too. There are outdoor games, boules, badminton and volley ball and a bbq for guests to entertain themselves. The summer is run on a bed and breakfast basis with the option of an evening meal.

For the youngest guests we have cots, high chair, stair gate, bed guard, etc

The chalet can be rented either exclusively or by the room so suits all from one to twenty-eight!

Location description

Our chalet is in heart of the Portes du Soleil with 650km of pistes to enjoy in the winter months which in the summer become mountain bike track and golf courses! Mountain walks from the door step and a host of extreme sports await those keen for adventure. We are in the hamlet of Montiond just 2km from the centre or a 20 minute flat walk. You will find a few shops, bars, restaurants in Montriond but many more in Morzine.
