Description of holiday chalet in Morzine, Rhone-Alpes

Ideal for groups of friends and completely suited for families with children, the chalet benefits from three bedrooms. One large bedroom with double bed and balcony overlooking the Pleney slopes, two further twin bedrooms each with two single beds. The chalet will comfortably sleep six adults, however there is a sofa in the lounge which converts into a double bed providing accommodation for a further two, if required.

Access to the bars and shops in the centre of Morzine is only a 10 minute walk. The free ski bus stop to take you to the foot of the Pleney slopes is located 200m from the chalet door. If you want to go to Avoriaz the bus stop is 300m away with a bus passing every 15 minutes. The 2 mile journey to Prodains takes five minutes and after a seven minute gondola ride you alight in the centre of Avoriaz at 1850m. If you prefer to drive, the chalet also benefits from a large garage with a further two off road parking spaces.

Arranged over five floors Les Berots never feels cramped and its location is an ideal base from which to explore the 650km of piste the Portes du Soleil has to offer.

Les Berots is a privately owned three bedroom semi detached chalet located in the beautiful town of Morzine in the heart of the picturesque Portes du Soleil region. The chalet's unique charm is its location on the outskirts of this busy resort providing good access to resort facilities while at the same time enjoying beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere away from the resort centre.

Directions

Les Berots is very easy to find. If you are arriving by private transfer just tell the driver it is the fifth chalet on the right hand side after you leave the Prodains roundabout (Rond Point des Meuniers) heading towards Avoriaz on the Route D’Avoriaz.

If you are driving from Geneva you can go either via the motorway and Cluses then approach Morzine from Les Gets, or via Thonon and approach from St Jean D’Aulps and Montriond, the latter is by far the prettier route and just as quick if not quicker.
