Nestled in the French Alps, Haute Savoie, is our Jardin Alpin chalet. It's only 1200m from the center of Megève, one of the most popular ski resorts in France.

The ski chalet is impeccably finished with a well equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed to accommodate a total of 8 people. The master double bedroom has an en suite shower room. Both the master and second double bedroom boast a balcony to enjoy the mountain and pasture views. The third bedroom has 2 single beds.

Location description

The famous ski resort of Megève, near Mont-Blanc in the French Alps, is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful resorts in the world.

The picturesque medieval town centre is pedestrianised, and frequented by horse-drawn sleighs.

There are 111 (70 platter lifts, 31 chairlifts and 10 gondola) lifts providing access to 219 slopes (34 blacks, 82 reds, 65 blues and 38 greens) totaling 445 km, along with 18 cross-country skiing trails totaling 95 km (59 miles).

Other activities

In the summer Megève has plenty to offer - hiking, golf, paragliding, water sports, paintball. The summer luge is great fun!

The town has many great restaurants and bars for a little relaxation.

There's plenty for the kids too - horse rides, adventure parks, swimming pool. Ours love it!

Directions

Le Jardin Alpin is situated just off the route Nationale D1212.

From Geneva take the A40 for 45km and take exit 20 - Sallanches towards Megève. Follow the D1205 into Sallanches and then turn right onto the D1212. From Sallanches, follow the D1212 into Megève.

As you approach Megève you'll cross a roundabout with a Casino supermarket on the left. 300m past the supermarket turn left into route du Petit Bois. After 50 metres turn right into Jardin Alpin. Chalet #4 is ahead of you.

From Albertville/Annecy take the D1508 towards Flumet. From Flumet take the D1212 through Praz-sur-Arly into Megève. Continue through Megève for about 1200m. Just as you pass the sign for 'Demi Quartier' turn right into route du Petit Bois. After 50 metres turn right into Jardin Alpin. Chalet #4 is ahead of you.
