Description
Chalet Charmille is arranged on three floors, with en-suite bedroom accommodation on the ground floor and top floor, and with the kitchen, dining and living areas on the middle floor. The chalet is furnished to a high standard throughout. The lounge and dining room are provided for your comfort and to enjoy the delicious cuisine. The log fire creates a cosy atmosphere.
The large south facing terrace, above the ski and sauna area, houses the hot tub and barebecue area. Although Chalet Charmille is only 150m from the pistes and 10 minutes from the main gondola, it is located close to the mountain forest and ancient irrigation channels (bisses) which make wonderful walks year-round and provide stunning views of the Rhone valley and breathtaking mountains.

Food and drink is an integral part of the Chalet Charmille experience.
Breakfast - to set you up for the day - will include fresh juices, coffee, tea, and your choice of continental and cooked breakfast.
In winter, the returning skiers will enjoy freshly baked cakes and coffee / tea / hot chocolate to restock their energy stores in the late afternoon.
The evening meal includes 4 courses plus coffee, using fresh local ingredients. Complimentary wine included. The dinner will be available for six nights per week, with one night per week when we can recommend excellent village restaurants for you to try out. Any special dietary needs can be catered for.
Summer, Spring and Autumn:
Accommodation is flexible during Spring, Summer and Autumn. With an average of around 300 days sunshine each year, the Swiss Valais enjoys a wonderful climate. The lifts are open from early July through to the end of August so you can really explore the mountains, with your mountain bike if you wish. There are numerous activities suited to active, relaxing and familiy holidays. The whole chalet (sleeping up to 15) is available to rent on a self catered basis. A range of speciality options are available.

Location description
Set in the beautiful village of La Tzoumaz, Verbier, part of the 4 valleys ski area, in the unspoilt eastern part of the village at the edge of the Forest.Overlooking the Rhone valley. 150 meteres from the piste and 800 metres from the village centre. Usually ski in (not on piste) with 450km of linked piste. High level skiing to 3,300m to mont Fort. Directly linked to the famous Verbier ski area. A wonderful winter holiday and fantastic in the Summer, Spring and Autumn. 300 days of sunshine each year.
Part of the extended Haute Route for stunning mountain touring, and on the Cristal Alp Mountain Bike Route.
In Summer Swiss meadows come to life and the cow bells can be heard all around. Take a trip on the cable cars in the summer to the high level mountains and experience the high altitude moutain vista.
Visit the underground lakes and Caves at Sierre, take a trip to Zermatt via the mountain train or soak up the sun in the chocolate box village of Evolene. Take the children for a riverside BBQ in the Val 'on D'arby.

Directions
By Car - from the UK - regular crossings to France, then drive to Switzerland via Lake Geneva. Follow the route to Grand St Bernard and Simplon turning off at Exit 24 of the A9 to Riddes and come up to La Tzoumaz.Drive in about 8-9 hours.
By Air - Easyjet operates good value flights from the UK to Geneva.Rent a car (best to book on line) from the Airport.
By Train - from Geneva Airport to Sion.
Bus or Taxi to la Tzoumaz or we can help with transfers
Trains come direct from the Airport to Sion.
