Description of holiday chalet in La Plagne, Rhone-Alpes

Chalet D'Anna is in a prime position in Plagne 1800 and you can usually ski from and to the door of this attractive chalet situated just above the ski school and just by the brand new chairlift that takes you directly up to Plagne Centre and the link to Plagne Soleil and the Vanoise Express. Chalet D'Anna is also right by the village centre thus there are no long walks to the piste or village.

Chalet D'Anna has 8 bedrooms and can sleep up to 16 people with all of the bedrooms having private/en-suite facilities. It is a well sought after holiday home with a nice atmosphere and the chalet has been recently enlarged by the owner to give a very spacious lounge and separate dining room. Chalet D'Anna is a Sunday arrival so you can take advantage of lower flight costs and easier Sunday transfers.

As with all of our other catered chalets our food is marvellous and unlike many major tour operators our chalet hosts are mature and experienced in providing a great catered service. The large lounge has a TV and we have free WIFI available.

Location description

Plagne 1800 is one of the 10 villages that make up La Plagne. It is just below La Plagne centre and is surrounded by pine trees.
La Plagne 1800 is the perfect destination for a ski holiday as there are a considerable variety of amenities throughout the resort and its height virtually gurantees snow.

In La Plagne 1800 we have 2 catered chalets - Chalet Soleil and Chalet D'Anna, these are both in prime position being right by the slopes, thus no walking! In addition new for the 2009/2010 season is a brand new chairlift that is only seconds away from our chalets and this takes you now directly to La Plagne Centre and gives easy access to Plagne Soleil and onwards to the Vanosie express. We also have one self-catered chalet apartment in the village that is right by the chairlift that takes you to Aime La Plagne.

There are a number of good restaurants including Mamma Mia's and Le Petit Chaperon Rouge are excellent, good value restaurants and in addition there is the Loup Garou and the Loup Blanc. There are three bars including La Mine. For more bars and restaurants there is a free shuttle bus to Plagne Centre that operates until after midnight or you can get a taxi back or even walk! On the chalet hosts night off you can go for a Moonlight Ski with a meal at the top of the Grande Rochette at approximately €60 for adults and €5 for children

Being at 1800m Plagne 1800 is snow secure and Plagne 1800 has its own ski school which is highly recommended as many of its staff speak English. In addition there is a health and fitness centre.
