Description of holiday chalet in Isola 2000, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur
The chalet is situated above the main resort buildings of Isola 2000, a sunny ski resort in the Alpes du Sud. The position of the chalet offers fantastic views over the valley which can be enjoyed from the large terrace. Inside, the chalet has an open plan kitchen, a dining area and a living area with a cosy wood-burning stove, TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs and board games. Also on the ground floor you will find a bedroom with two bunk beds and en suite shower room. All the ground floor rooms have underfloor heating.
Upstairs there is a master bedroom with fitted wardrobes, beautiful high ceilings and a balcony from which to enjoy the spectacular scenery. There is also a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes. In addition to the two bedrooms upstairs, there is a family bathroom with heated towel rail and plenty of storage, and a laundry cupboard with washing machine / tumble drier.
The chalet has been furnished in an alpine style, and is cosy and very welcoming. The chalet benefits from a quiet location (access is only on foot, from the main access road) making it a perfect mountain getaway, however if you need to keep up to date with the outside world, the chalet has free wireless internet access.
In total, the chalet can sleep up to 8 people. There is a double sofa bed in the living area, two bunk beds, two single beds, and one double bed. There are two bathrooms.
As well as the chalet, there is also a garage which is located in the main chalet building on the development, in which you can store your skis. The garage is ideally placed for skiing out down a small piste to the main resort and ski area.

Booking deposit of 25% due on reserving your stay at the chalet, remaining balance payable 8 weeks before your stay.
Damage deposit of 1500 euros payable to our agents in the resort on arrival.

Location description
The chalet is in a great location for visiting the wonderful Mercantour National Park where you may spot chamois, wolves, griffon vultures and bearded vultures. Isola 2000 has lots of summer and winter activities on offer including skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing in the winter, and walking, mountain biking, horse riding, swimming and fishing in the summer.Isola 2000 is well known for its sunshine and if you're lucky you can see the Mediterrean Sea from the top of one of the chairlifts! The resort is much quieter than ski areas further North so you hardly ever experience lift queues and it can sometimes feel like you've got the pistes to yourself. There is a wide range of pistes to choose from so the resort suits beginners and experts alike. There are 120 km of pistes, 42 pistes in total, 3 black pistes, 11 red pistes, 21 blue pistes and 7 green pistes.
